Inspired by the daily commute through non-places, the bulk of Kevin’s work deals with documenting the state of transience and temporary materiality that unfold in space and time and among strangers.
Kevin is interested in expressing the individual or the entity within a designed spatial construct. Immune to the turbulent pace of life in Singapore, he is also drawn to the everyday occupation of the mundane, which is often reflected in the scope of his cinematic and photographical work. In considering the effect of pace, Kevin credits the study of both stillness and motion in helping to define his craft.
